These foam mats are made of cell-closed polyethylene. They are easy to glue, sand and coat with PU paint (rubber paint) or latex. The mats are light and particularly flexible, but still stable and durable and easy to cut with sharp scissors or a cutter blade.
With the 7mm thick mats, decorative ornaments, punched and milled decorative elements and also rod wrappings can easily be made, e.g. for round handles/shafts for polearms, axes, etc.! And these are also well suited for multi-layer/sandwich construction technology, e.g. sword blades, daggers, ax heads, etc.
